I have been fascinated by this ring ever since I picked it up at an Antiques fair in Bath last month while at a friends hen do (what a weekend!). I was told by the dealer that it is from 1890, specifically the Art Deco period. The facets within the unusually coloured stone reminds me of Swarovski and I just love the setting and frame and think the tarnished silver just adds to its charm. And it was a bargain at just £10!
